One item that slipped through my net last week, and is for sale in her room (was tempted but I am enjoying it when on duty at Dairy House instead of buying!) is this charming Victorian push-along wooden horse. Isn't he beautiful? She came back with another horse on wheels yesterday, and I'll take photos when he finally comes in the shop.
Finally, I took down the scaffold tower yesterday, which can mean only one thing ... the Cheese Room painting is finished! The floor will be cleaned this afternoon and dealers are moving in from tomorrow (Thursday) so that we're all set for 1st September (closed BH Monday). Photos on the Dairy House blog shortly.

Gorgeous screen, no idea on the fabric, perhaps Lois will recognise it? Love the horse too............. Liz x
We are glad the painting is finished and things are moving along! Love the horsey and the screen!!
Love the screen but clueless about the fabric. The horse is toooo precious. You're right to resist the urge to buy it. Seems you're getting much more pleasure from it right where it is!
Wonderful screen, the fabric is delicious even if it is past its best! Can't help with naming the fabric, sorry. The horse is cute, I saw one very like it at a toy auction earlier this week but I too resisted the urge!
The fabric is charming, particularly the children one. I like lots of things in that person's unit. Have a lovely bank holiday weekend.

Exviting times - beautiful screen. Very best wishes for the Cheese Room opening!
Whata cute little horsey! Giddy-up Dobbin!
Oh I do love that first fabric. Very pretty. No idea what it is though. The push along horse is very sweet. Glad to hear you're almost there with the cheese room.
Lovely to see you today Sue. Hope the day went well. The children fabric is stunning but clueless about them. Lovely horse too! best wishes for the opening, I'll be at work then unfortunately but I'll be thinking about you!
What a wonderful screen! First thoughts on the fabrics are probably French? Especially the first one, looks to be about 1900 by the looks of it (but it may be later, about 1920-30 if it is contemporary with second fabric). The second is gorgeous, a Deco childrens print reminiscent of Mabel Lucy Atwell. What a wonderful find, I am very envious! x
