THE Event ... updated

What an amazing day! We couldn't have wished for anything better. So many lovely people helping, buying, selling, being. Thank you to everyone. What a day ;)

I'll do a proper post once I've uploaded photos and have recovered!

Please leave a comment if you have blogged the day and I'll add all the links.

In the meantime Niki has already posted with plenty of pics, and Lizzie has now posted her version of the day, too.

Isabelle's photos are now on her blog.

Ali has also posted some gorgeous photos, and written some lovely words.

Tamsyn has some gorgeous photos to show you, and Donna has made me very envious with her fabric photos!

Rather than another post here, I've posted photos and my bird's eye view of the day on the Dairy House blog. Do, please, pop over for a look-see!

So nice to see Dairy House at last and to come and buy such gorgeous vintage bits! Just got home to Cornwall and now sorting through my purchases. Can't wait to start making! Thanks Sue and everyone else for such a lovely day.

I didn't get the opportunity to speak to you as you were so busy, but wanted to say hello and that I thought that yesterday was fab! It was certainly popular and all of the stallholders had such a brilliant display of wares.

I managed to take a few photos, but it was quite tricky with so many customers!

Well done on such a great event...

Well.. thank goodness for the sunshine.. though it would have taken more than a bit of rain to dampen the spirit and mood of the fair..
A lovely event.. and plenty to store away in the memory bank!
Good to see you all and I really enjoyed the buzz of the crowd..
Hope you are celebrating your success with a glass of something nice and a well earned rest.

Absolutely fabulous day Sue! Thank you for turning a great idea into an inspired event. Due to your hard work in promoting the Day across the region, the crowds came and we were kept busy selling all day. So lovely to meet the many happy shoppers but also to meet fellow bloggers like Donna (donnaflower.blogspot.com) and Niki(nostalgiaatthestonehouse.blogspot.com/) and all the other very friendly stall-holders. Well done!

Thank you, ladies. It's so nice to read that a number of bloggers attended, and that everyone - sellers and shoppers - had a great day.

I've been blog hopping looking at all the photographs, what a fab event, such a shame you are on the other side of the country to us.

Hi Sue,
such a shame I couldn't make it. I was so much looking forward to it and wanted to spend lots of money. But I'll see even some of you at the V&H and I have the Dairy House on my plan actually for May 3rd. Mr. Beam agreed. So there will be but some purchases then, I promise!
How great your fair was such a success, you deserve it!! I noticed the next one in September.
