At first glance the first 5 all look the same, but the clouds were moving quite quickly, and if you click on pics 3 and 4 you'll also see a star. I expect it has a name, but I'm afraid I don't know it! Clever hubby has just told me it's Venus! The other 4 photos were taken about 5 minutes later.
Hi Sue, Just thought I better pop back, after realising what I said earlier!! Of course Venus is our home planet (!) - trust me to be a typical female trying to multi-task. There I was sewing on a button, talking to my youngest and trying to write a comment on your blog post all at the same time....just shows we can't be brilliant 100% of the time!! haha.

Sue: Great site, great shots! Keep it up. Mariah and I are creating our site--open soon-to celebrate couples married to their best friend. Are you?
Thanks, Byron/Mariah in Columbus Ohio US
Amazing photos Sue. Is this going to be the start of a new book - the sky at night?
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos with us!
