Thank you ...

... all for your lovely comments about the website. I've had so many messages wishing me luck that it's been quite overwhelming.

I've sold a few items, which is so exciting! It's made it worth all the anxieties of whether I could do it or not ...

So, I'm going to sit down now and have a glass of red and do not very much this evening. It's been a busy few days, and I have a couple of busy ones ahead, so I'm going to grab a few hours now and relax ... if I can remember how!

I've had a couple of browses through the VtoV web site, and it looks GOOD! And you have some gorgeous stuff for sale, I wish you every success.
One comment.... have you thought of adding a Guest Book link?

Hi, Sue! Just read your comment over on my blog and wanted to welcome you and thank you for visiting! What a lovely site you have here. I read your entry about the Madame Testout roses and found it fascinating. Portland is still known as the City of Roses and we have a huge festival each June celebrating "our" flower. I'm not sure whereabouts in Portland her roses were planted, but there are many areas of the city where roses flourish EVERYWHERE...along curbsides, in abandoned lots, and of course homes all around the city have rose bushes. We have the beautiful Rose Gardens too, up near the zoo. My daughter-in-law and I used to meet to walk a couple days a week before she had a baby and I now take care of him full time...the neighborhood we walked in was Ladd's Addition and at the "hub" of the neighborhood's center is a gorgeous garden full of roses. I'd have them in my garden, but my daughter is terribly allergic to roses, so I enjoy those in my neighbors' yards instead, ha! I'll be back, too, when I have a little more time to do some browsing. Just got a call from Dear Hubby...he's on his way home and we're heading out for an early dinner! Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Sue
A watering can would be so much easier, wouldn't it? Today the paddling pool was returned to shop as it leaked and replaced and then a new hose had to be bought to fill it. A total of 6 hours spent this weekend trying to sort the darned thing out and we're now spending this evening emptying it out again!!!
